I thought I'd introduce myself, my names Russ, Im down the rink every Wednesday and Saturday skating with the kids, I've spoken to some of the lads down there, (cheers Alan for the kit), I played hockey many years ago, John Lawless was my coach, I had an industrial accident in which I lost the top of my finger a week before I was due to be put up into the Devils so I couldn't try out, needless to say I was gutted, anyway I want to get back into it for fitness and for fun, I've got to shift some weight

I'll be down Wednesday 1st April...no joke for my first training session, hope to meet the rest of the fellas and ladies of course.

Even my nipper has taken up the hockey he started last week.

Mind i was about 10 stone lighter and 10 years younger and cos i was from wales they kicked my ass , mind i did train in a devils top , I was in the rec's , Mind really looking forward to it on Wednesday , go easy on me fittness is very low

Just want to say a big thanks to all the guys and girls down the rink last night, really enjoyed myself, although I was knackered after, the mind was there but the body didn't want to play along, I'm sure the more practice I put in the better I'll be, it's been along time! Gutted there's no training Friday was really geared up for two sessions this week, never mind I'll see you all down there on Wednesday if not see some of you Monday evening down the farewell booze up
